You need to download and update all the following software:

The correct installation (update) procedure is:

  1. Download all the 3 software from this website into a folder/directory.
  2. Uninstall the old V-Express software from your PC. You can do it from the "Add/Remove Program"  found under the Control Panel.
  3. Install the new V-Express you have downloaded from this site. Click here for Installation instructions.
  4. Update the loader using the Downloading Tool comes with the V-Express. Click here for update instruction.
  5. Update the firmware using the Downloading Tool comes with the V-Express. Click here for update instruction.
WARNING, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

1, THE DOWNLOADING TOOL WILL NOT WORK ON A WINDOWS NT OR WINDOWS 2000 COMPUTER. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO USE A WINDOWS NT OR WINDOWS 2000 MACHINE TO UPDATE THE SOFTWARE.

2, PLEASE DO NOT USE DOUBLE-BYTE VERSION OF WINDOWS (CHINESE, JAPANESE AND KOREAN) TO DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE. CONTACT OUR TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR SOLUTION.

Who Should Update:

Compare the firmware version number of your V-Server to the firmware version number on this website. If you are using an older version of the software, we strongly encourage you to take some time to update your software. To determine whether you have the latest version of software, please do the following to find out:

On the V-Express, click "Configuration Profile" and click on the "System Level" sub-folder. Check the "V-Server Software Version".

How to Update the Loader and Firmware:
  1. Download the software (V-Express, Loader and Firmware). 
  2. Uninstall the old version of V-Express and install the new V-Express. Click here for a procedure.
  3. Update your firmware using the "Downloading Tool" comes with the V-Express. Instructions can be found on the Technical Support website under "Procedures"
  4. After updating the software, you can use either the Configuration Wizard or V-Express to re-configure your server. We strongly recommend you to open the "Factory Default Configuration" for the first time when you log into the V-Server after you have updated your firmware.
  5. If you are to use the V-Express, please do the following first:
  6. connect/log in.
  7. Open the "Factory Default Profile".
  8. Re-configure your unit and save the configuration back to the Node.
